Welcome to Crosswell First Baptist Church. The purpose of this site is to glorify our Lord Jesus Christ, so edify the believers at Crosswell First Baptist Church, and to let other know about Crosswell First Baptist Church and Jesus Christ our Lord.

I see the internet ministry the least of all church ministries. I haven't heard too many stories of lost folks searching the web, coming across a church web site, and either visiting or getting saved on-line. But, I have used the internet before while traveling to find a good local church to worship at. I've heard of other Christians who were relocating using the internet to find a new church home. As Brother Barry Segers often sings, "Little is much if God is in it". Or as it says in Romans: Rom 8:31 What shall we then say to these things? If God [be] for us, who [can be] against us? And it says in Mark: Mar 10:27 And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men [it is] impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.

Therefore I believe we should spend as little as possible on a web ministry, so we can focus on better ways to reach the lost, such as visitation, Sunday School, Awana, and other such hands on programs. Of course the best way to share Jesus is to do so personally. I pray that we all would do that more and more. A web ministry is more like a sign. It let's people know who we are, where we are and when we're open. It does a little more than a sign in that it shows pictures, links to other sites and what not. Therefore we have moved away from the Lifeway servers.

The answer to the cheaper web hosting problem has been fulfilled through Z-Host.com and www.SBC-Churches.NET. (Praise the Lord) I work with three other small churches. All of them needed web space. I was able to get one low priced site from Z-host and put four churches on it. Z-Host has been great. They answer my stupid questions quickly(non-stupid questions take longer). There are all kinds of features available on Z-Host. It will probably take me a while to figure out how to use all of them.
